Our approach / Independence and method

Our Evidence Bench

We explain the industrial distance between recovering waste and supplying a useful material. The distance matters more than the slogan.

Who this resource is for

Junglefeedcomt is an independent, informative website for technically curious readers, procurement teams and sustainability staff. We follow acceptance criteria through a facility: what an operation removes, what it preserves and what it needs to measure.

We are not a recycling operator, collection programme, certification body or engineering consultancy. We do not accept waste or verify individual supplier lots. Our explanations help readers ask better questions; they do not replace site-specific technical, regulatory or purchasing advice.

Four kinds of evidence

01 / Origin

Collection records

Where a material was recovered, by whom and within which definition. We do not treat coastal, ocean-bound and ocean-recovered as interchangeable.

02 / Operation

Process descriptions

What an operator says a line accepts and produces. Operator publications are primary accounts, not automatic independent validation.

03 / Performance

Material tests

Results under specified methods and conditions. One property or sample cannot establish every application claim.

04 / Destination

Demonstrated reuse

Evidence that output reached a defined material application, rather than an assumption based on collection or dispatch alone.

Sources and uncertainty

We prioritise official regulatory sources and recognised standards for definitions and requirements. For real-world process examples, we link to the relevant operator and identify the limits of the information. Names such as PLASTIX, Aquafil and ECONYL appear as documented examples, not endorsements or indications of affiliation.

We avoid publishing universal yields, energy savings or quality thresholds where the answer depends on feedstock, system boundaries and operating conditions. Missing evidence remains a limitation; it is not filled with an optimistic estimate.

Images explain, not certify

Equipment cutaways and polymer scenes are labelled explanatory renders. Documentary context images show the broader waste problem and are not evidence of a named facility, collection programme or production outcome.

Corrections and material updates

If a process description, source link or regulatory reference appears incorrect, send the page address, the disputed statement and a supporting primary source. We assess corrections against the evidence and revise the relevant explanation where warranted. We do not promise a response or publication timetable.
